I just arrived at the J-Hoppers hostel in Hiroshima, Japan. We left our hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 4:45 this morning and have been traveling by bus, plane, train, and streetcar since then.
Everything I learned about the Korean language is basically moot now. I didn't even look up how to say the basic Four--yes, no, hello, thank you--before coming here. Out of habit I've been speaking Korean to the Japanese people. Fortunately one of our travel companions, Abby, remembers enough to get us on the right trains.
We're headed out for lunch and some sightseeing.
